Lab Volt 5100 Robot

The Lab-Volt Teach Pendant-Controlled Robot System (5100) is a precision-built, articulated arm micro robot that provides training in the operation and control of industrial style robots.

The 5100 Robot has a stepper motor located in the base of the unit that provides horizontal rotation, while five additional stepper motors located in the shoulder provide precision movements of specialized components and use several joints simultaneously to perform a programmed move sequence through a teach pendant.

The base of the unit includes one connector for an external stepper motor which can be used for further experimentation, such as operating the 5100 Rotary Carousel. The robot has four external device control connections, one of which is mounted on the shoulder and three of which are mounted in the base.
