Ar-Tur Robot by Estrela - Brazil. The robot who wants to play with you! Robot amigo llego. Estrela, Movido Apilha. A remote radio control 60 cm battery operated robot. Robot Ar-tur was an electronic toy manufactured by Estrela and released in Brazil in 1982 , it came to replace the robot Percival , and had a remote control with a single button, which had the function of stopping and retracting the toy , as well which turned on the robot automatically walked forward, producing a horn sound at the same time. Its name AR-TUR was an homage to a famous robot R2-D2 , that starred in the film Star Wars ; the pronunciation of R2 in English is Ar-Two, and served as inspiration for the name of the toy. Ar-Tur was successful sales in the 1980's being a toy by remote control.
